Quality Food Demands Quality Design

Not using high-quality visuals in the food and beverage industry can literally put you through the meat grinder. That's because consumers quickly form strong emotional opinions about food, beverages, and restaurants based on the visual aspects of a company's branding, packaging, and marketing. In fact, many customers equate product quality with product packaging and marketing.

We helped this local start-up get up off the ground by designing their logo and consulting on packaging and marketing materials. The attention to quality they pay in developing their products is reflected in their branding. Over the first two years of their business after the branding project, they had moved to from only being at farmers markets on weekends to having two brick and mortar locations in Atlanta.

Visually Connecting to the Community

As awareness of the importance of food quality and food diversity grows, SlowFood is one of the world leaders in the movement. Founded by Carlos Petrini as a grassroots organization, it has grown to over 200 local chapters in the U.S. alone.

We worked with the Atlanta Chapter on marketing events and creating collectible event posters, cookbooks, and content for social media.

 

For Slow Food Atlanta, we designed beautifully illustrated posters to be displayed in restaurants, greengrocers, and coffee shops to promote events and to be adapted for social media. They also were produced as limited-edition art prints to be sold and given away at an event.

Diet Cherry Coke

Rebranding, Packaging & Point of Purchase Displays

When the Coca-Cola Company wanted to shift the target audience of Diet Cherry Coke away from older and middle-aged consumers to twenty-somethings they called us. Being experts in the visual language of pop-culture and knowing how to present it in mass-marketing format, we created a distinct, edgy new visual look for the Diet Cherry Coke packaging. It was so successful that we were further contracted to develop in-store marketing materials, look-books, and a brand style guide.
